Another score for Ethan Stowell in Ballard's Kolstrand building.
The pervasive restaurateur has taken over the old Dutch Bike Co. space right next door to his Staple & Fancy and is turning it into a fish and chips spot called Chippy's.
From his blog: "Chippy's will be serving classic fish & chips alongside a bevy of old-school seaside specialties: Clam Chowder, Shrimp Louie, Crab Rolls, and Ethan's Famous Fried Oysters, just to name a few."
Chippy's will seat a little less than 30, which includes 8 spots at the bar. There will be cocktails and beers (8 of them) on tap.
Doors are expected to open in March, right behind Stowell's next-to-newest projects, Red Cow and Noyer.
