Ballard Pie Party, Miyabi 45th Opens for Lunch & More!

BALLARD— A big pie buffet just may be the best way to ring in the New Year. The annual Ballard Pie Party, now in its 11th year, benefits the Marsha Rivkin Center for Ovarian Cancer and takes place on Saturday, January 25 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm at the Salmon Bay Ballard Eagles. WALLINGFORD— Soba haven Miyabi 45th opens for lunch next Tuesday, January 7. After that, lunch service will run Monday through Saturday from 11:30 am to 2 pm. The lunch menu will offer a soba and rice bowl combo including a choice of kake (a simple hot soba with mitsuba) or zaru (soba with assorted tempura) soba with a mini donburi, a choice of ten don (tempura rice bowl) or curry don (Japanese curry rice bowl).
