CROSSROADS— Tutta Bella opens its newest location (#5) in Crossroads this evening with a new culinary team, expanded menu, and new pizza techniques. Doors will swing open at 5 p.m. Lunch service begins later this month. [Eaterwire]
MONTLAKE— Come February, Montlake will have a new drinking hotspot with Traveler Montlake opening up in the old Montlake Alehouse location. After 10 years, the Alehouse didn't get their lease reupped, and The Nabob and The Leary Traveler owners picked it up. The "new American pub" will focus on wild game specialties, pub fare, and have six rotating taps (out of 12 beers). [CHS]
LOWER QUEEN ANNE— SAVOR at McCaw Hall is throwing a little Winemaker Happy Hour on Jan. 23 that sounds pretty deluxe. For $25, guests can hang with Poppie Mantone of Syncline Winery and snack on hors d'oeuvres made to pair up prettily. 5:30-7:30. Tickets available online. [Eaterwire]
