Tracking Seattle's "Freshly Trendy" Menu Items

Frito pie, pig face fritters, and eggplant puree on beef are happening.

Food in a jar alert: Over at Seattle Met, critic Kathryn Robinson picks menu items from Seattle-area restaurants that have "leapt out as freshly trendy" throughout 2014. She namechecks the savory: pig face fritters (Cochon, Eureka!), Frito pie (Jack's BBQ, Babirusa.)
