CAPITOL HILL -- Justin Newstrum is essentially kicking off his upcoming Kickstarter campaign for his 9th and Hennepin donut shop with a pop-up at Cafe Pettirosso this weekend. From 6 to 10 p.m. this Sunday, Newstrum will be serving his fried-to-order donuts for free, with suggested donations going to the Kickstarter campaign. WESTLAKE -- The Swedish Club is celebrating Halloween tonight with a full dinner served at 6 p.m. and Swedish meat-"eye"-balls available all night long. And celebrity Chef Marcus Samuelsson will be in the house, signing his latest book from 6 to 8 p.m. [EaterWire]
