The Ama-Zone Keeps Growing; Fremont's Post-Paseo Hotspots

New, 1 comment

Without further ado, we present the latest and greatest from our sister site, Curbed Seattle.

DENNY TRIANGLE— The Hurricane Cafe is not long for this world and when it goes, Amazon plans to build a three-building campus (one of their many upcoming campuses) with a total of 835,200 square feet of offices, 35,000 square feet of street-level retail and underground parking for 835 cars. Curbed has more renderings for the latest addition to The Ama-Zone.

FREMONT— As you're well aware, Paseo has shuffled loose its marinated coil. And while Paseo will be missed, its departure doesn't define the North Fremont neighborhood any longer. Curbed mapped out eleven still-running hotspots, restaurants and cafes that make treks to this tiny enclave necessary still.

SOUTH LAKE UNION— The address might be 234 9th Avenue N but you can call it Ninth & Thomas, a mixed-use project with 152,769 sq. ft. of office space, 11,859 of street-level retail/restaurant space, 155 underground parking and a small residential component. Olson Kundig provided some gorgeous renderings, which include a look at the building's 'living room' lobby.
