And by "boatload," we mean more than 50.

More than 50 Walla Walla wineries will descend on Seattle on February 9 for a tasting event called "Walla Walla Wine @ McCaw Hall." Winemakers will be pouring a selection of new and current releases from some of the area's most respected wineries. Light appetizers will also be served.

"Every year our wineries look forward to this event, where they can connect face-to-face with wine lovers from all over the Puget Sound," said Duane Wollmuth, Executive Director of the Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance. "With so many wineries under one roof, customers really get a great bang for their buck."

The general admission tasting runs from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Tickets are available now through the Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance.
