Winter sucks. Winter beer doesn't.

The Washington Brewers Guild is hosting its annual Washington Winter Beer Fest on December 5 and 6 inside Hangar 30 at Magnuson Park. The impressive line-up of beers from around the state includes "dark malty stouts, robust winter warmers, barrel-aged gems and many more."

The growing list of more than 50 breweries pouring at the event includes Big Time Brewing Company, Boundary Bay Brewery, Anacortes Brewery, Elysian Brewing, Icicle Brewing Company, Bale Breaker Brewing Company, and Black Raven Brewing Company. A full list of breweries and their contributions can be found on the event's website.

Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door and include a tasting cup and six five-ounce pours. Additional tasting tokens will be sold for $1.50 each. There's also a designated driver admission for $5, available at the door. The event is 21+.
