KICKSTARTIN' -- Chef Lisa Nakamura's Gnocchi Bar Indiegogo campaign is in its final days. Nakamura is hoping to raise $50,000 to help bring her handmade gnocchi restaurant to fruition, helping her pay salaries and rent, buy inventory, and "provide a cushion when the unexpected happens," as it so often does with new restaurants. CAPITOL HILL -- Cafe Pettirosso is launching a monthly Monday dinner series, starting November 24 from 6 to 10 p.m. There will be specialty cocktails, small and large plates, and dessert. Reservations are recommended and can be made by emailing pettirossoreservations@gmail.com. [EaterWire]
