CAPITOL HILL -- Anchovies & Olives is hosting its annual Festa dei Sette Pesci, or Feast of the Seven Fishes, a traditional Southern Italian Christmas eve meal. The Anchovies & Olives version will take place December 23 with family-style servings of oysters, hamachi crudo, clams, branzino, and more. Dinner will be served from 5 to 11 p.m. and reservations are recommended. [EaterWire]

SEA-TAC -- If you're flying early tomorrow morning, be on the look out for some food-related shenanigans at the C Concourse. Alaska Airlines is bringing in "one of Seattle's most iconic chefs" who will "tour the airport in a 'food cart' caravan sharing samples of the chef's popular cuisine with travelers at Sea-Tac." It all gets going around 5:30 a.m. [EaterWire]

BEER WIRE -- Pike Brewery has released its annual holiday ale, Auld Aquaintance. This year, the dark amber seasoned with orange peel and spices will honor Jack Joyce of Rogue Ales, who passed away earlier this year. Joyce's likeness replaces that of Santa Claus, who has adorned the bottles for the past 23 years of production. [EaterWire]
