Alcohol Delivery Service Rolls Out in Seattle

A new smartphone app and website called Drizly offers beer, wine, and liquor delivery to your doorstep in 20 to 40 minutes has launched in Seattle. The service rolled out in eight other cities and just added Seattle to its service. It's available for customers in Downtown, Belltown, South Lake Union, Madrona, Capitol Hill, Madison Park, Queen Anne, Magnolia, Ballard, Fremont, Green Lake, Wedgwood, Northgate, Broadview, and the University District. Additional areas are expected to be added soon.

The service is pretty simple: users download a free app for iPhone and Android or log on to Drizly.com. You can then make selections form thousands of products for the same prices as in the store. Drizly is currently offering free delivery on all orders through November 30; the promotion is automatically applied at checkout.
