But you'll have to wait a bit.

Struggling, but not that much: Whole Foods Market announced it is opening its ninth Seattle location, with this latest branch heading to the corner of Broadway and Madison, at the intersection of the Capitol Hill and First Hill neighborhoods, reports the Puget Sound Business Journal. The store will open at the base of a 16-story apartment building at 1001 Broadway, where there currently sits a medical office building constructed in 1928.

Whole Foods expects to open this 40,000-square-foot store in early 2018, or perhaps the spring of 2017, reports Capitol Hill Seattle. Either way, the new building must undergo the city's design review process, with the first session to take place before the end of 2014. Residents of Capitol Hill who may want to weigh in on the process should check CHS for updates.
