CIDER WIRE -- Seattle Cider Company's full line up of packaged and draft cider will be available in Austin area bars, restaurants, and bottle shops through local distributor KEG 1 beginning November 17. Texas will be the fifth state to carry the products, and plans for distribution in California and additional Midwest states are in the works. [EaterWire]
SODO -- Ghostfish Brewing Company, Seattle's first gluten-free brewery, is hosting a free beer tasting on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Woods, the tasting room for Seattle Cider Company and Two Beers Brewing. FUNDRAISERS -- The Seattle restaurant community is coming together on November 23 to help raise money for Chef Tyler Moritz (Union, Lark, La Bête, Stoneburner, Zig Zag), who was recently diagnosed with cancer. The fundraiser will be held at the Novelty Hill Januik Winery in Woodinville starting at 6 p.m. All of the funds from the event will be donated to Moritz, including tips. You can also donate online.
