Hilliard's Beer Available in Sweden; Winter Menu at Via Tribunali

PIZZA WIRE -- Last week, all Via Tribunali locations rolled out their new winter menu with items like locally-made Italian sausage with wood-fired onions and peppers, proscuitto with buffalo mozzarella, wood-fired tomatoes with goat cheese on crostini, and burrata with tomatoes. BEER WIRE -- Ballard's own Hilliard's Beer has reached an agreement with Sweden's largest beverage distributor to begin selling Amber Ale in all 421 of Sweden's alcohol retail stores. The beer is available in special 12-ounce cans that say "Made in Ballard." The brewery will also send kegs of Amber, Chrome Satan, and Murdered Out Stout to Sweden soon. [EaterWire]

CAPITOL HILL -- Sun Liquor is hosting a new event called the Nog Ball at their production facility on Pike Street on December 11. Guests will have a chance to taste this year's Aged Eggnog from Sun Liquor plus samples from partners that include 2bar Spirits, Caffe Vita, Hilliard's, Standard Brewing, and more.
