New Third Place Books with Restaurant; Pre-Christmas Brunch at Hommage

SEWARD PARK PCC is selling its Seward Park store to Third Place Books, which will open its third store there. The new location will also have a restaurant and possibly a pub, all open by the end of 2015. [The Stranger]

QUEEN ANNE Hommage is holding a pre-Christmas brunch special on December 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The meal is $30 per person, excluding tax, tip, and drinks. The meal will be prix fixe, with family-style servings of potage with leek oil, croque monsieur with green salad, crepe with seasonal jam, smoked salmon with poached egg and hollandaise, and seasonal fruit salad. CAPITOL HILL Kaisho is rolling out a nightly late night happy hour beginning this Saturday at 10 p.m. The menu includes food and drink, with all tap beers for $1 and $5 manhattans and old fashions. [EaterWire]
