Husband-and-wife team Stefan and Julie Giles have quietly built a following for their Campfire BBQ pop-up, which serves Texas-style dry-rubbed brisket and Memphis-style ribs, among other items. Campfire aims to use local, organic, and sustainable ingredients – including the meat – whenever possible.
Campfire is hosting its next pop-up on Saturday at Downtown Spirits from 3 to 6 p.m. Stoup Brewing will bring the beer and 3 Howls Distillery will pour the whiskey. Campfire will craft barbeque sauce out of Stoup's Red IPA and Winter Warmer and 3 Howls' Hopped Whiskey. There's no cover for the all-ages pop-up.
