Westernco Donut House in Ballard is closing to make room for a new development. Since its lease was not renewed, the old-school donut shop at 7500 15th Ave. is permanently shuttering on Christmas Eve, reports My Ballard.
Westernco has been serving crullers and jelly donuts in the neighborhood for five decades and continues to operate locations in Georgetown, Bellevue, Kent, and Renton.
