The Ballard address that has been filled by watering holes for almost 70 years is getting a new bar. NW Peaks is opening tap room The Bergschrund (That's "mountain cliff" in German) tomorrow in the former 2-Bit Saloon location on 17th Ave NW, reports My Ballard. The drink list is "almost exclusively" made up of pours from the Ballard brewery, with a planned rotating cider and "guest tap" featuring beer from various local breweries.
The Bergschrund is lining up food trucks to perch outside the family-friendly, remodeled space, which will also serve pizza.
