Great Vegetables and a "Sacrilegious" Philly Cheesesteak Earn Quality Athletics 2.5 Stars

Eater reads the reviews so you don't have to.

In this week's restaurant reviews, Providence Cicero of The Seattle Times checks out Quality Athletics in Pioneer Square. Cicero awarded 2.5 stars to Josh Henderson's take on a sports bar, which offers "plenty of winks and nods to typical game-day fare."

Cicero says the evolving menu at Quality Athletics includes a "sacrilegious" Philly cheesesteak. "The meat was in chunks and the baguette was granite-hard on top, soggy on the bottom," she says. The recently-added bacon cheeseburger is a "rightly popular" choice, the wings are "unavoidably messy," and the chorizo and queso dip is "insanely good." While the restaurant excels with its vegetables, Cicero wants you to avoid the fried chicken sandwich and the "Sexyco sauce" served on the side with the New York strip.
