Visit Portland for a Taste of Farm-To-Table Cuisine

The Portland professional culinary community is known for its commitment to the farm-to-table movement—finding the freshest local ingredients to prepare meals that speak to the area's rich farming history and culture. Portland restaurants like Imperial, Higgins, and Firehouse are known for presenting a menu that is not only appetizing, but also sustainable, often times creating meals exclusively from ingredients gathered from surrounding farms and local farmers markets.

For a great opportunity to sample some of the best dishes the city has to offer, plan a trip to Portland during Portland Dining Month, March 1-30, when more than 100 restaurants across the city will be serving three-course prix fixe dinners for $29. Read more about it here, and check out the video above to see what Portland dining is all about.
