SEATTLE— Tired of getting the stink-eye from the barista while you sit at the same table for six hours? You've been huddled in front of your MacBook in drafty, old world-style coffee shops with eight-foot tall, cold-brew, drip towers for long enough. Check out these ten outside-the-cafe wi-fi options worth considering.

BELLTOWN— Goodbye, Car Toys. 307 Broad Street is getting a makeover. The official plan for a nine-story residential building with 153 apartments, a swanky lobby/lounge with fireplace and the obligatory rooftop deck to stare out on the Space Needle at. Check out initial renderings here.

SAN JUAN ISLANDS— With all this talk around Seattle of skyrocketing rents and zoning gone mad, maybe we should all look outside of Seattle for some peace and quiet. If that's what you're thinking, and you've got a few dollars saved up, you might want to look to the San Juans. We spotted seven estates across the islands that pack a whole lot into their lots.
