Molly Moon's Builds Parklets; Brouwer's Turns Nine

SEATTLE— Molly Moon's signed on with Seattle's pilot parklet program to build a mini-park outside its original Wallingford shop. The local ice cream chain is also collaborating with the Hi-Spot and Bottlehouse to build a parklet on 34th Ave. in Madrona. Both green spaces should be open in June. [EaterWire]

FREMONT— Heads up, beer geeks: Brouwer's is serving special beer from its cellar in the bottle and on tap this Friday in honor of its 9th birthday. The watering hole is also rolling out "Hopped to the Nines," a 9th anniversary session IPA brewed by Capitol Hill's Elysian. [Facebook]
