CAPITOL HILL— In a neighborhood bursting at the seams with coffee bars it's equal parts good news, bad news, and no news that Cherry Street Coffee will open its eighth shop in Capitol Hill. CHS reports that the new cafe at Three20 Apartments on Pine St. is shooting for a summer opening. Cherry Street owner Ali Ghambari's daughter Laila snagged the 2014 Northwest Barista Champion title at the recent Big Western Barista Competition in L.A. [CHS]
