Ben Affleck namechecked Theo Chocolate during an appearance in front of the U.S. Senate last month to talk about the present state of the war-torn Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). During his testimony, Affleck mentioned the Fremont-based company's commitment to buying DRC-grown cocoa beans. Now, Theo and Affleck have launched a chocolate bar made with cocoa, coffee, and vanilla beans directly sourced from Congolese farmers.
