The Seattle Street Food Festival, which was attended by over 26,000 people last summer during its inaugural run, has announced that this year's fest will span over two days in August.
More than 65 street food vendors will gather along two blocks in Capitol Hill on Friday, August 8 from 5 to midnight and Saturday, August 9 from noon to 11 p.m.
Event producer Ryan Reiter told the CHS blog that the expanded schedule should help to "cut down on the congestion and offer a healthier food festival experience."
This year, there will also be three bars and beer gardens, indoor lounges and live entertainment; also new is a retail market called Urban Craft Uprising Village, which will feature 100 locally made crafts for sale.
