Beardslee Alehouse Opening; Oso Needs Cash

BOTHELL—A brewery from chef John Howie and distillery from Erik Liedholm are headed to Bothell this fall. "Farm to table" restaurant (and 10-barrel brewery) Beardslee Alehouse and neighboring tasting room Wildwood Spirits Co. are scheduled to open in September. SEATTLE— Tom Douglas and winemaker Charles Smith are teaming up with Ethan Stowell Restaurants, Josh Henderson's Huxley Wallace Collective, and 18 other area wineries for an "Oso Needs Cash" benefit on April 22. Sub Pop founder Bruce Pavitt will be spinning vinyl. All proceeds from the event at Palace Ballroom will be donated to United Way of Snohomish County. [EaterWire]
