Look Inside Corretto, Now Open on Broadway

Corretto swung its doors open last night in the former Panevino space in Capitol Hill. The Italian spot from Tango and Rumba's Travis Rosenthal joins a growing list of recently launched restaurants and bars on Broadway, including Witness, Bait Shop, and Nacho Borracho.

Executive Chef Laura Licona comes to Corretto from La Spiga. Her Italian comfort food menu includes a whole host of familiar pastas made in-house. Case in point: pappardelle with meatballs and marinara, potato gnocchi with pesto, and kale and mushroom ravioli with shallots and lemon zest. Ciabatta is baked each day by Tango and Rumba pastry chef Mari Loofburrow.

Translated 'corrected coffee,' Corretto's amari-centric bar program headed up by Ba Bar alum Noah Momyer features espresso paired with grappa, amari, and other liquors.

Hours are 4:30 p.m. to 2 a.m., with coffee and brunch service starting around the bend. Happy hour runs from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and all night Monday.
