Caffe Vita's flagship Pike St. location got a refresh just shy of the roaster's 20th birthday. CHS reports that Vita scrapped initial plans for a street party celebrating two decades in business and instead opted to install new flooring and deep clean the Capitol Hill cafe and production facility. The article also includes interesting bits about Café Paradiso, the coffee shop that completed an eight year run in the space before passing the keys to Vita owner Mike McConnell in the late 90s.
