Maple Leaf Grill Closing; Pintxo Launches Late Night Menu

MAPLE LEAF—Longtime neighborhood spot Maple Leaf Grill will shutter next month. The restaurant's owner broke the news via Facebook: "It is with great sadness that I must officially announce the impending closure of the Maple Leaf Grill. 'BUCKSWIRE—Quartz posted an infographic of "unusually popular" Starbucks orders from around the U.S. Apparently, Portland residents drink a lot of eggnog lattes, while Seattleites more frequently order extra shots of espresso and, not surprisingly, prefer hot instead of iced drinks. [-EN-]

BELLTOWN—Starting tonight, Pintxo will offer a late night menu, "geared towards the cocktail connaisseur who wants to end the night with something as palatable as the thoughtful cocktails they've been drinking all night." Select tapas from the dinner menu will be served from 10:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. every Friday and Saturday.
