Meet the "Tatsmobile"; Seattle Center's Food Truck Podlet

MEALS ON WHEELS— Rebekah Denn already connected the dots on All You Can Eat: Just as the media is posting more hints that the food truck era is peaking and/or is in transition, Seattle scores a new mini-truck pod close to the Seattle Center. A rotating pair of trucks, including Off the Rez and Hallava Falafel, will be parked at Fifth and John during the workweek. [ST]

(MORE) MEALS ON WHEELS— Also new to the food truck circut: Tat's Delicatessen is taking its ever-popular sandwiches on the road. Nosh Pit reports that the Pioneer Square spot will launch the "Tatsmobile" by the middle of June. [Seattle Met]

QUEEN ANNE/FREMONT—Author, chocolate expert and Canadian (eh?) Eagranie Yuh will be signing books and chatting chocolate at Chocolopolis from 1–3 p.m. on May 17. She's in town to plug The Chocolate Tasting Kit (Chronicle Books), an interactive guide to becoming the chocolate geek you always wanted to be. If your favorite mornings involve chocolate, you can also head to Book Larder on May 18. From 11 a.m.–noon, where Yuh will explain how to taste chocolate. She's also bringing "practice" samples from Theo. [EaterWire]
