Like Capitol Hill's Chophouse Row needed to get any cooler. CHS is reporting that Seattle restaurateur Matt Dillon and Bruce and Sarah Naftaly are planning new projects in the upcoming restaurant and retail marketplace that will also house Ericka Burke's Chop Shop Cafe & Bar and Chop Shop Juice & Provisions and Kurt Timmermeister's Kurt Farm Shop.
Dillon is behind what CHS is calling "Bar Ferd'nand II," a second outpost of his Melrose Market wine bar. Plus, according to plans Bruce and Sarah Naftaly (the couple owned beloved Ballard bar Sambar and fine dining spot Le Gourmand for 27 years) are opening a two-level bakery and cafe.
The mixed use building on 11th and Pike from developer Liz Dunn (file under: Melrose Market, Pacific Supply Co.) is scheduled to be completed this fall.
