Broadcast Coffee Opens Today in Roosevelt

People of Northeast Seattle: You now have a multi-roaster cafe. Featuring a rotating list of West Coast roasters, including San Francisco's Sightglass and Seattle's Kuma, Broadcast Coffee launches today in Roosevelt.

Adding to the coffee bar's Central District and Capitol Hill locations, the storefront at Roosevelt and 66th at the Kavela Apartments also sells beans roasted offsite by Broadcast owner Barry Faught. Pastries come from La Forêt, Mighty-O, and Louisa's.

The airy new space (which includes a custom-painted emerald green La Marzocco GB/5 espresso machine) was designed by Trey Jones. Hours for now are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and weekends from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., although Faught is hoping to stay open later in the evening in the coming months.
