A small army of Asian or "Asian-inspired" restaurants are opening in the coming months on Capitol Hill. CHS reports on nine eateries on track to launch this summer or fall, including Manao (not Ma'ono) a Thai street food-esque spot inspired by Little Uncle that's opening on 13th and Pine. Also new: Somsiri Thai, moving in next to the space currently occupied by Abay Ethiopian on North Capitol Hill.

Others to watch include Kaisho from the Blue C and Boom people, a second outpost of popular U-District noodle shop U:Don, and the highly anticipated Trove from Rachel Yang and Seif Chirchi.
