New, 2 comments

THE SHUTTER— Brazilian steakhouse Fumaca has closed. The Belltown space has housed several spots, including Minnie's, Whym, and Blush. No surprise: the building will knocked down and replaced with apartments. Hat tip to KOMO's Lindsay Cohen for the intel. [Tipline]

TAKEOUT WIRE— Joining the already competitive food delivery crowd, Amazon will soon roll out a "local services marketplace" that includes an option for takeout delivery to Seattle residents. TechCrunch reports that the program briefly launched last night as a part of the Amazon Local app but was quickly taken offline. Once it's up and running in Seattle the service will be offered in additional cities. [-EN-]

ARBITRARY LISTICLES— Two Seattle spots made OpenTable's 2014 Diners' Choice Awards list of the top 100 restaurants in America, and they're both owned by Ethan Stowell. The round-up, "comprised of tried and true local standbys that boast cult-like followings," includes Red Cow in Madrona and mkt. in Tangletown. Check out the full roster.
