DOWNTOWN—Seattle's newest hotel, Motif Seattle, is taking over the spot formerly home to The Red Lion Hotel at 1415 5th Ave. As well as completely-renovated rooms and lobby, the hotel will also be home to Frolik Kitchen + Cocktails, featuring the largest outdoor patio in downtown Seattle.
SEATTLE SKYLINE—The folks behind the Fifth & Columbia Tower, which will eventually become one of Seattle's ten tallest structures, put together a super-cool video showcasing how the Emerald City got its skyline as well as how their 43-story office/hotel complex will fit into it once completed in 2016.
