Riding the artisan juice wave from the Eastside to Seattle, Jujubeet officially opens its second location today near other places frequented by healthy NE Seattle folk, including a barre studio and the Burke-Gilman trail. The juicery launched in Bellevue last September; 50,000 servings of juiced and blended vegetables later, owners Bianca Szyperski and Mala Raman are bringing their green smoothies and parsley shots to 4915 25th Ave. NE.
Fruit and veg used in both shops is mostly organic and much of it comes from Charlie's Produce. In addition to made-to-order juice and juice cleanses, Jujubeet serves a light morning and midday menu, including acai and quinoa bowls. Today's grand opening runs until 3 p.m. with regular hours kicking in tomorrow.
