13 Coins is launching an 8,000-square-foot outpost on the Eastside by the end of the year. Opening in downtown Bellevue adjacent to the Hyatt Regency hotel, the space is being designed by Graham Baba (Cuoco, Westward, Miller's Guild.)

The interior will riff off the restaurant's SLU and Sea-Tac locations and feature dark wood and tufted leather seats freshened up with modern color palettes and lighting. For better or worse, it's bound to be one hell of a departure from the vintage high-backed booths and bar chairs that make the original South Lake Union location memorable.

Like its siblings, 13 Coins will be open 24 hours, giving Bellevue night owls the chance to eat fried ravioli at 3 a.m.

In addition to the dining room, the space seats 60 at a full bar and include outdoor tables and a banquet space. Doors are scheduled to open this December.

It's a busy year for 13 Coins: Director of Operations Albert Moscatel and crew are also working on a second Seattle restaurant in Pioneer Square's Stadium Place Project (neighbors include Quality Athletics, Girin, and Cone & Steiner) that will open by the end of 2016.
