BALLARD — A kid-friendly cafe has opened in the old B&O Espresso location at 5404 Leary Ave NW from former Ballard Boys and Girls Club program director Alison Soike. Say hello to Alison's Coastal Cafe & Bakery who are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday serving all-day breakfast with a sandwich lunch menu and speciality desserts. [EW]

BALLARD — Californian chain Patxi's Pizza open its first Pacific Northwest location on Thursday at 5323 Ballard. Check out the menu here. Open for lunch and dinner with a daily 3-6p.m. happy hour (bar only) which includes a $5 personal pizza and $5 well drinks, Patxi's will begin offering delivery in a few week's time. [EW]
