Adding another project to his ever-expanding arsenal, Tom Douglas has launched Assembly Hall Kitchen inside the 10,000-square-foot Assembly Hall in Via 6 on Sixth and Lenora. The Belltown marketplace also includes a juice bar (Assembly Hall Juice & Coffee) deli/specialty market (Home Remedy) and restaurant (TanakaSan.) Zagat broke the news, reporting that the new lunch counter fills the space that formerly housed a pastry kitchen.

The food list, currently starring fried chicken, grandma's potato-mac salad, sweet corn and tomato salad, and watermelon lemonade will switch up often: Look for chili to debut on the menu this autumn.

Assembly Hall Kitchen is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. during the workweek.
