Washington Distillers Fest Returns; Vios Expands Hours

SEATTLE— PROOF, the Washington Distillers Festival returns this Saturday. In addition to a lot of locally-made spirits, the event at Fremont Studios features food from 14 restaurants, including Kickin' Boot Whiskey Kitchen and Moonshine BBQ. [EaterWire]

CAPITOL HILL— Vios is now open on Mondays from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Hours at the Greek restaurant's location inside of Ravenna's Third Place Books remain the same. [EaterWire]

ROOM SERVICE WIRE— The Sorrento Hotel is carving out a niche as an independently owned lodge catering to guests, reports Puget Sound Business Journal. In addition to employing high school-aged "personalize butlers" the Sorrento has a "midnight muncies" ice cream bar in the lobby and a room service menu for dogs that includes raw beef and egg with cooked farro.
