Pritty Boys Shutters in Madrona; Lake Chad Cafe Opens

THE SHUTTER— With a corner play space frequented by most small children and parents in Madrona, Pritty Boys Family Pizzeria is closed. Eater wasn't able to reach staff for comment; the pie shop's answering machine confirms the news: "We are no longer open for business. CENTRAL DISTRICT—Lake Chad Cafe opened on 17th and Jackson, reports CHS. Owner Felix Ngousso is hoping to create a "community place" with the coffee shop, named after Lake Chad in Africa. The menu includes salads and sandwiches; beans come from Vashon Coffee Company. [CHS]

BALLARD—Skillet opened its Ballard location one year ago. To celebrate, the diner is knocking 15 percent off guest checks today from now through 11 p.m. [Facebook]
