Dulces Bistro & Wine has closed nine short months after opening in the Lawrence Lofts at 1818 E. Madison St. The restaurant tweeted the news over the weekend:

Eater has been unable to reach staff for comment; the restaurant's voicemail confirms the closure: "Unfortunately we have closed the doors, we thank you for your loyalty and your patronage and hopefully we will see you soon."

Dulces first opened in Madrona in the 1990s, closing after almost two decades in 2011. The next tenants in that space at 1430 34th Ave. also had sour luck—Pritty Boys Family Pizzeria shuttered after three years earlier this month.

After leaving its longtime Madrona address, Dulces operated a short-lived downtown outpost in 2011, closing less than a year after opening.
