Good news for people who love historic bars—but first a reminder that Lower Queen Anne dive the Streamline Tavern, which has existed at various addresses since the mid-50s, will be knocked down in 2015 so the Republic of Korea can build a Consulate.
Turns out it may not be the end of the venerable bar: Via Queen Anne noticed a post on the WA Liquor Control Board stating that Jabu's Pub on Roy St. has changed its name the name on its liquor license to Streamline Tavern. Stay tuned for details; a hat tip to Eater reader Mark for the tip.
