Week in Reviews

Screen Shot 2014-08-28 at 1.24.32 PM.pngThe Dining Room at Salish Lodge has the dubious distinction of earning one lonely star in a review by Seattle Times critic Providence Cicero. While brunch is still good, Cicero says the new chef, a former member of the "Gordon Ramsay restaurant empire" is now "in something of a kitchen nightmare." The critic's dinner was "adequate at best" with "rubbery" duck-ham, lamb, roasted duck, and carrots. Overall, she says meal doesn't deliver: "That would be unfortunate at any price, but at these steep prices, it's aggravating." [Seattle Times]
