Goodness Gracious, Sweet Week Is Almost Here

Eater has details on the treats being sold next week under the banner of Sweet Week, the sugar-fueled event brought to you by Hot Cakes' owner Autumn Martin. From Thursday, September 25 through Sunday, September 28, 17 Seattle-area sweet shops will offer special $5 treats and boy, the list is a doozy.

Stand-outs include Hot Cakes' Oh My Honey Sundae with salted honey caramel ice cream, honey crunch, and honey cream, and honey-candied smoked almonds covered in salty milk chocolate. At Hello Robin, there will be a dreamy-sounding chocolate chip cookie affogato, and Dahlia Bakery is doing a chocolate stout cake with malted mascarpone and Cascade Hop fudge.
