Murray Stenson Leaves Elysian Bar, Along With Most of the Bar Staff

Few of the original bar staff remain at downtown's four-month-old Elysian Bar, including Mr. Murray Stenson. Seattle's best-known bartender confirmed his departure with The Stranger; Stenson now works at Queen City Grill in Belltown.

While he didn't give a reason for the shakeup, Stenson says that other members of the bar team have scattered: Connor O'Brien moved to Artusi, Adam Fream to the upcoming Single Shot, Jason Diaz to Roux, and Dennis Brand to Queen City Grill along with Stenson. Stenson will be mixing drinks at Queen City on Tuesday through Friday nights.
