It's unofficial special diet theme week at Eater Seattle. The last few days have brought news of vegan candy in Phinney Ridge, gluten-free pastries in Capitol Hill, and gluten-free beer in SoDo. Add Cycle Dogs, a vegan hot dog bicycle cart, to the mix.
Texas-transplant Keaton Tucker is trying to raise $10,000 via Kickstarter for what he says will be the first, all-vegan hot dog bike cart ever. The whole menu, including Black Market Dogs with Britt's kimchi and "secret agent sauce" and Texas Chili Dogs, can be made gluten-free. Cycle Dogs has until October 23 to meet its goal.
