Shanik Curries Headed for Seattle-Area Whole Foods Shelves

Shanik owner Meeru Dhalwala has been busy. She's rolling out a new fall menu in early October and she signed with Penguin-Random House for her third cookbook. There's more: thanks to recent agreement with Harry's Fresh Foods in Portland, three of Meeru's vegetarian curries will be available in refrigerated sections of all Seattle-area Whole Foods. The plan is to expand, bringing Shanik curries to other West Coast markets.
