Cider Fete at Bottlehouse; Pinot in the City at Sodo Park

MADRONA—Bottlehouse's annual Cider Fete happens on Sunday, September 14, during Washington Cider Week. The 2 to 6 p.m. event and tasting features ten area cideries, a grilled cheese bar, and live music. $25 tickets are available at the door. [EaterWire]

WINE WIRE— Oregon wines will be on display at Thursday's Pinot in the City from the Willamette Valley Wineries Association. The gathering at Sodo Park features dozens of producers from the region, including Union Wine Company and Sweet Cheeks Winery. LAKE UNION—Daniel's Broiler hosts its Bourbon Heritage Dinner this Friday at 7 p.m. The $95 multi-course meal includes bourbon pairings like lobster bisque with Maker's 46, wild mushroom salad with Woodford Double Oak, and coffee-rubbed filet with Old Forester Signature. Also, the Lake Union restaurant just opened Prime 809, a cocktail bar inside the space that serves 50 bourbons and 40 scotches. [Eater Wire]
