Screen Shot 2014-09-09 at 12.07.12 PM.pngThis week, Seattle Times restaurant critic Providence Cicero reviews Brunswick & Hunt, a new, "low-key neighborhood place" in Ballard. The menu from chef Rudy Velasquez and team includes a pair of signature dishes: gumbo (good flavor, "oily and thin" soup) and a burger (a buffalo-and-beef patty with "real character" served with "excellent" fries.) But Cicero says the "golden and gleaming" fried chicken drizzled with honey is "destined for fame." Three stars. [Seattle Times]
